This page collects both series in one place, in the regulators' own figures, with charts, tables and downloads. Nothing here is estimated.
Macau: Baccarat Revenue by Quarter
Baccarat is not merely Macau's largest game. In every quarter since Q1 2023 it has produced between 83.7% and 85.6% of all revenue from games of fortune. Within that, the VIP segment's share rose from 23.5% to a high of 30.7% before easing to 26.1% in Q2 2026, while mass-market baccarat remained the larger of the two in every quarter.

Las Vegas Strip: Baccarat Win and Hold by Month
The Strip accounts for about 98% of all baccarat win in Nevada. Its annual totals are steadier than its months: $1,463.7 million in 2023, $1,363.5 million in 2024, $1,409.6 million in 2025. Month to month, hold swings widely, from 7.06% in April 2023 to 26.74% in January 2025. Swings that large are what you would expect when a relatively small number of very large bets decides a month's result, and they are why a single month's Strip gaming revenue so often rises or falls on baccarat.

Method and Sources
Nevada. Win, "win percent" (hold) and table counts for Baccarat and Mini-Baccarat come from the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Monthly Revenue Reports, statewide and for the Las Vegas Strip area, read from every report since January 2023. They are shown as first published; the Board revises figures later, which is why a report's year-over-year change can differ slightly from one computed with the original year-earlier number. We checked the series against the reports' own year-over-year changes: 52 of 54 comparisons match exactly, and both exceptions trace to such a revision. Annual totals on this page are sums of the monthly figures.
Macau. Quarterly gross revenue for VIP baccarat, mass-market baccarat (the Bureau's "Baccarat" row) and all games of fortune comes from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau's quarterly gaming statistics, in Macau patacas. Each year's four quarters sum exactly to the annual totals the Bureau prints. The Bureau revises some figures after first release, and this page uses its current tables. Shares are computed by Baccarat.gg.
Win and hold are not the same as the house edge. The house edge is the average cost of each bet, 1.06% on Banker, as our Odds & Payouts page explains. Hold measures win against the money exchanged for chips, and because chips are bet many times over, hold runs far higher than the edge.

Chips are bet many times over, so hold runs far higher than the edge, and when a relatively small number of very large bets decides a month, the result can move it by several points either way.

Nevada figures come from the Nevada Gaming Control Board's Monthly Revenue Reports, published near the end of the following month. Macau figures come from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau's quarterly gaming statistics, published about two weeks after each quarter ends. This page is updated after each release, and both datasets can be downloaded as CSV.
